Jon Bäcklund and Stina Ekström love sharing their easy-going lifestyle with others.
The couple live in the forest town of Bromma, just outside of Stockholm, Sweden where they operate a unique rental cottage.
Jon originally bought the 1976 bus almost a decade ago.
It wasn’t until recently that he decided to convert it into a rental space for visitors to nearby Stockholm.
The renovation took three years, but Jon and Stina have finally completed their peaceful getaway.
Stina says of their converted bus,
It’s beautiful and simple, with no singular or particular style. It’s just cozy and nice.

Visitors can enjoy the rooftop grill and private, outdoor deck.

There is one house rule that you should know. The bus is located in a vegetarian community, and you’re asked not to eat meat or bring meat to the bus during your stay.
The bus retains a lot of its original lines and styling.
Inside you’ll be pampered with soft colors and handmade furnishings.
Those beds are making me sleepy.
There’s a beautiful, handmade dresser in the back.
Extra beds are available if you want to bring your friends along. The bus is designed to sleep 4 people.
There’s another sitting area up front. Those are the original bus seats that have been turned into sofas.

Lots of nooks and crannies everywhere.
Did we mention there’s a hot tub out back?
While some visitors have said that the bus is a bit far from Stockholm’s city center, you’ll ultimately be glad you chose this peaceful location.
Unfortunately, the bus doesn’t have running water, but there’s a bathroom and shower in a nearby building on the lot.
You can book your stay in Jon and Stina’s bus by going here.
